MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centres.brContext:brThe Single Data Entry (SDE) project is a transformational initiative led by MSF to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of supply chain data entry in stock management processes (cargo reception, order preparation, stock count) across multiple operational centres (OC). The solution being developed revolves around a mobile application leveraging QR codes and AI-powered OCR technologies to automate data capture and integrate with MSF’s existing supply chain systems. The project team is looking for an application manager to bring technical expertise and a capacity to coordinate with IT organizations across OCs to execute its test deployment strategy and define the support model.brMission:brThe IT Project Manager is pivotal in developing and implementing the SDE solution to meet high standards and integrate smoothly with existing systems and stock management tools. Responsible for the successful delivery of IT solutions supporting the SDE program, this role ensures both business,brfunctional and technical requirements are efficiently met. The IT Project Manager will work closely with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement tailored solutions, ensuring these are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. In this role, you will provide technical leadership within the SDE core team, manage the product development, and collaborate with technical experts from the four cosponsoring Operational Centers (OCs) of the SDE program.brWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a robust background in software development and a proven track record in leading mobile application projects. Join us at Médecins Sans Frontières and contribute your expertise!brOccasional travel to the field or the Geneva Office can be expected.brScope of responsibilitiesbrCollaborate with IT working groups from co-sponsoring OCs to ensure building a viable, maintainable and deployable solutionbrLead end-to-end planning and delivery of the product development projectbrCollaborate and build relationship with suppliers to enable project successbrMonitor project progress and performance, identify variances, and drive corrective actions to keep delivery on track.brIdentify, assess and manage risks, issues, blockers and dependencies, including escalation where needed.brEnsure readiness and support go-live of the solution in MSF missionsbrCoordinate testing, defect resolution, environment readiness, release planning and go-live activities, in collaboration with the Deployment Manager.brPromote adherence to quality standards, security requirements, compliance needs, and operational readiness expectations.brLead workshop and activities to define the operating model and ensure successful transition to business-as-usual after implementationbrYour profilebrEducationbrMaster’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, or a related field)brExperiencebrAt least 5 years of successful IT project management, with experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining mobile applicationsbrBroad technical proficiency across various roles, including developer, business analyst, technical lead, and project managerbrFamiliarity with working in an international setting, with prior humanitarian experience a plus.brPrevious experience with MSF is valued.brLanguagesbrFluent in English and French.brPersonal qualitiesbrStrong ability to foster trust and collaboration in a multicultural and matrix setting.brStrong communication skillsbrProactive and autonomousbrCommitted to the MSF valuesbrTerms of employmentbrFull-time position 100% (40h/week)brFixed-term contract : 9 monthsbrPlace of work : Geneva, SwitzerlandbrIdeal start date: September 2026brGross annual salary (for 100%): from CHF 102’180.- to CHF 116’484.- (based on relevant equivalent experience and MSF’s internal salary gridbrPaid leave: 25 days per year, prorated, plus any Swiss public holidays falling within the contract period.brPension plan: pension covered 75% by MSF, 25% by staff member.brRelocation support available for eligible candidates. jidb4e7036aen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
