ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets Back Office Specialist to join our international team and contribute to complex operational projects for Swiss and European banking clients. The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on knowledge of securities settlement processes and a structured approach to managing high-volume time-sensitive banking operations across multiple markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Settlement & Operations

• Manage the full settlement lifecycle including pre-matching unmatched and pending position management across multiple markets
• Handle buy-in and claim management activities in line with market standards and internal procedures
• Execute booking operations across both client and custodian systems with Area Finanza CAD IT knowledge considered a strong preferential criterion

Technical & Instrument Knowledge

• Interpret and process Security Settlement Instructions accurately and in a timely manner
• Apply working knowledge of securities master data with familiarity with Bloomberg and Telekurs considered a plus
• Handle SWIFT message flows relevant to securities transactions including MT541 MT543 MT545 and MT547

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Banking Operations with a focus on capital markets and securities settlement
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risk exposure and mitigation opportunities
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
• Fluent English and Italian both mandatory

Roles and resposabilities:

• Solid knowledge in Settlement: pre-matching unmatched and pending management at all markets; buy-in and claim management
• Good knowledge of Swift Messages (MT541 MT543 MT545 and MT547)
• Ability to understand Security Settlement Instructions
• Booking operations in both Clients and Custodians systems (knowledge of Area Finanza CAD IT represents a strong preferential criterion)
• Knowledge of securities master data (knowledge of Bloomberg and Telekurs is a plus)
