Credit Officer

Position and location Credit Officer – Geneva Position Type 100%, Permanent Location: Geneva Start date: As soon as possible About the Role We are looking for an experienced and analytical Credit Officer to join our team in Geneva. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis, structuring and monitoring of credit transactions while ensuring compliance with the Bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Front Office, Senior Management and key internal stakeholders to support the Bank's lending activities. Key Responsibilities Analyse and structure credit requests, including Lombard loans, single stock lending, guarantees and other credit facilities, in line with the Bank's credit policy. Monitor the credit portfolio, counterparties and credit limits, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and following up on excesses and maturities. Prepare and present credit proposals to the Credit Committee and Board of Directors, and implement approved credit decisions within the Bank's systems. Contribute to the enhancement of internal credit procedures and participate in cross-functional projects supporting the Bank's development. Your Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Credit role within a Private Banking environment. University degree in Finance, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement analysis and financial markets. Proficiency in MS Office is required, knowledge of Avaloq, Bloomberg and VBA would be considered an asset. Excellent command of both French and English, written and spoken. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, hands-on mindset, high level of initiative and flexibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
