In this senior role, you will work closely with regional commercial leads, IATA's supply chain advocacy team, product specialists, and key industry partners to accelerate global adoption of IATA’s MRO SmartHub platform. Your mandate is to shape the strategic positioning and market evolution of the MRO SmartHub ecosystem, driving industry adoption through airline engagement, partnerships and commercial enablement. /p h3What your day would be like /h3 pbCommercialStrategy /bbr/ Shape the strategic commercial direction using market intelligence, demand assessment, and competitive positioning.br/ Define value propositions and commercial positioning aligned with ecosystem evolution.br/ Identify priority markets, segments, and partnership opportunities based on commercial potential.br/ Provide strategic guidance to commercial teams to ensure alignment with long-term objectives. /p pbEcosystem CommercialDevelopment /bbr/ Identify and develop commercial partnerships with airlines, suppliers, and intermediaries to drive adoption and revenue growth.br/ Build and manage strategic alliances that strengthen the ecosystem value chain and network effects.br/ Translate industry trends and constraints into scalable commercial growth strategies. /p pbMarket Enabling Positioning /bbr/ Define strategic messaging and positioning frameworks to support consistent market communication.br/ Develop case studies, success stories, and adoption narratives with early adopters. /p pbCustomer Value Adoption Insights /bbr/ Define value realization frameworks and success metrics.br/ Interpret adoption trends and feedback to inform strategic direction and commercial positioning.br/ Coordinate with training and onboarding resources to ensure airlines, suppliers and partners receive structured education and support. /p h3We would love to hear from you if you /h3 ul lihave a university degree, preferably in aviation, engineering or business, with at least seven (7) years of experience, specifically in aircraft material trading (or related areas) with an airline, MRO or supplier. /li libring solid aviation supply‑chain experience, ideally gained within an airline’s MRO surplus materials management, or parts‑trading function; familiarity with digital trading or marketplace platforms is strongly preferred. /li liunderstand how data‑enabled tools, system interfaces, and digital workflows support procurement, materials management, or trading decisions in aviation. /li lihave meaningful experience in business development and strategy, with the ability to articulate value propositions and contribute effectively to commercial and non‑commercial discussions in the MRO environment. /li lidemonstrate the ability to translate market needs and industry insights into strategic priorities, working effectively with product and technical teams. /li lidemonstrate strong ability to influence without direct authority and operate in multi‑stakeholder environments. /li lidemonstrate strong analytical, and data‑driven thinking, with the ability to interpret market signals, assess opportunities, and translate insights into sound commercial recommendations. /li licommunicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across regions, bringing initiative, sound judgement, and a proactive, results‑oriented approach to your work. /li lidemonstrate strong project‑management capability, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex workstreams, manage competing priorities, and ensure timely, high‑quality execution across stakeholders. /li lishow proven experience engaging with external stakeholders at industry level (airlines, MROs, suppliers, associations). /li /ul pTravel Required: 10 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
