Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Immunology

ppbYour position /b /p /p We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in immunology and have previously worked on cellular and molecular networks underlying tissue health and disease. Our goal is to conduct impactful interdisciplinary research interfacing tumor biology, immunology, and neuroscience to investigate the role of neurons in regulating tumor immunity. Candidates will be expected to take the lead role in their projects, publish manuscripts as the first author, and present their projects and data at lab meetings, as well as international meetings. We are looking for someone who is excited to discover and answer questions related to neuro-immunology, and who demonstrates critical thinking, scientific rigor, and attention to detail. ppbbYour profile /b /b /p /p liA Ph.D. in immunology, oncology, or a related field. /liliStrong interest in immunology. /liliStrong skills in conducting independent in-vivo studies, and knowledge of managing strains for independent projects, including genetically modified mouse models. /liliExperience with spectral flow cytometry is essential. /liliExperience with cell sorting, preparation of tissues for RNAseq and confocal microscopy analysis is highly desirable. /liliExperience in cellular and molecular biology. /liliStrong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently. /liliExcellent written and oral communication skills. /liliCommitment to teamwork and collaboration. /li
