Full Stack Software Engineer (Products)

pAbout the job Hard requirements (please DO NOT APPLY if you don't match all, candidates not satisfying these prerequisites won’t be consider for the position): You must have EU or Swiss nationality / C permit. /p pYou must have 3+ years of software development experience, including contributive architectural design. /p pYou must have a Master’s degree Computer Science or Computer Engineering. /p pYou must be willing to work at least 80% onsite in our office in Lugano and potentially on client’s site. /p pYou must speak fluently Italian and English (min. /p pC1). /p pWe are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to lead and contribute to the development and evolution of our software products. /p pYou will work closely with the AI engineering team, taking a hands-on role in building key features and continuously improving code quality and development practices. /p pRole Lead and contribute to the development and technical direction of the company’s software AI products. /p pCollaborate closely with the AI team to design and implement scalable and efficient technical solutions: work with AI experts (NLP, optimization, computer vision, etc) depending on the product under development, integrating models and advanced functionalities. /p pSupport the continuous improvement of development, testing, and software maintenance practices. /p pAct as a key reference for the company's codebase, ensuring quality and consistency across products. /p pKey Responsibilities Act as the technical reference for the products development. /p pDevelop and maintain core product components and features. /p pCollaborate with the team to deliver new features and improve existing ones. /p pParticipate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and consistency. /p pIntegrate AI models, pipelines, and services into applications, working with experts in NLP, optimization, and computer vision etc based on project needs. /p pContribute to testing, CI/CD, and application monitoring practices. /p pWork with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery. /p pParticipate in strategic technological decisions and help shape product and engineering roadmaps. /p pRequired Technical Skills Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Java (Spring) and Python (FastAPI). /p pStrong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular with TypeScript) , including ecosystem tools and best practices. /p pSolid experience with APIs, databases, containerized environments, and modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, cloud-native or microservices architectures). /p pStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. /p pExperience building RESTful APIs and working with modern HTTP-based architectures. /p pKnowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. /p pExperience with Docker, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines. /p pEducation and Experience 3+ years of full stack software development experience, including contributive architectural design. /p pDemonstrated experience in technical ownership, project guidance, or team leadership. /p pMaster’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. /p pSoft Skills Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy. /p pExcellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for cross-team collaboration. /p pDetail-oriented mindset with a commitment to building high-quality, maintainable software. /p pCuriosity and interest in learning and trying out new technologies and approaches. /p pNice to Have Knowledge of C++, Rust, or other programming languages. /p pExperience with Kubernetes or similar deployment and automation tools. /p pUnderstanding of microservices and distributed systems, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure Languages Italian: C2 or native proficiency English: Proficiency (min C1) French / German: Proficiency (min C1) is a plus We offer Full-time permanent contract. /p pCompetitive compensation and growth opportunities. /p pA stimulating scientific environment with an informal working atmosphere. /p pOngoing training, mentoring and close collaboration with cutting-edge research teams. /p pThis is a Hybrid (work from home office) position. /p pPowered by JazzHR /p
