Join the Compliance department team at the Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE), an Authentic, Courageous, and Equitable bank.Within the Cross-border Activities, Sanctions, and Regulatory Monitoring team, you will actively contribute to the Bank's regulatory compliance framework, with a particular focus on these three areas. You will support the various business lines in the analysis and management of regulatory risks, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities- Advise business lines on issues related to cross-border activities and sanctions.- Monitor legal and regulatory developments concerning risks related to the provision of banking and investment services to an international clientele.- Conduct regulatory analyses on sanctions risks across all activities of a universal bank.- Ensure regulatory monitoring covering both Swiss requirements and foreign requirements likely to impact the Bank's activities.- Monitor the evolution of sanctions regimes (SECO, OFAC, European Union, United Kingdom, etc.) and analyze their consequences.- Support projects for the development of new markets, products, or services by evaluating regulatory impacts.- Respond to requests from various control functions and business lines on complex issues falling within the section's competencies.- Participate in internal training and contribute to strengthening the culture of compliance within the Bank.- Collaborate with other Compliance, Legal, and Risk Management teams on cross-functional projects.Profile- University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Swiss law, economics, finance, or a related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in a bank, law firm, consulting firm, or other financial institution, acquired in the fields of cross-border activities, sanctions, banking law, or Compliance.- A legal background or experience as a legal counsel is a real asset.- Knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to the cross-border activities of Swiss banks as well as Swiss and international sanctions regimes.- Ability to analyze legal and regulatory texts and formulate clear recommendations.- Strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.- Team spirit, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and initiative.- Ability to argue and convince.- Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks.- Excellent command of French and English; knowledge of German is an asset.Terms of Employment- Activity rate: 100%- Type of contract: Permanent- Workplace: Geneva- Start date: As soon as possibleWant to know more about the BCGE as an employer?Consult our Careers page. jidbe95911aen jit0833aen jpiy26aen
