It provides long‑term and cost‑effective financing solutions to its shareholders and eligible customers, supporting the renewal, modernization and expansion of rolling stock and related public transport assets. /p pAs of 1 September 2026 – or by arrangement – we are looking for a bHead Financial Planning Analysis, 80‑100% /b /p h3Responsibilities and Impact /h3 ul liAct as a strategic sparring partner to the CFO, providing clear, insight‑driven advice and challenging key financial and business decisions /li liLead the build‑up of the FPA function, including designing and implementing planning, forecasting and performance reporting frameworks, processes and tools /li liBuild and maintain treasury‑ and rolling stock financing‑related financial models to support planning, forecasting, stress testing and management decision‑making /li liPrepare monthly financial reporting (PL, balance sheet, key performance indicators) and translate results into actionable insights for management and the wider EUROFIMA team /li liOwn and run the quarterly forecast process (PL and balance sheet) in close collaboration with other unit heads, ensuring early identification of risks and opportunities /li liLead the yearly budgeting process and strategic planning sessions and provide analytical support and recommendations to management and the Board /li liBuild up and maintain a suite of regular and ad‑hoc reports and analyses to support business steering, resource allocation and risk/return optimization /li liPrepare high‑quality quarterly Board of Directors and Audit Risk Committee materials, including clear narratives, scenario analyses and management recommendations /li liBuild up know‑how in SimCorp Dimension and further enhance EUROFIMA’s analytical and reporting capabilities together with investment, treasury, risk and IT teams /li liAct as a sparring partner to the Head of Risk Management (and vice versa), jointly developing integrated risk, capital and profitability insights for senior management /li liSupport management and other finance teams in relevant projects (e.g. hedge accounting, valuation changes for financial instruments, Asset and Liability Committee initiatives), ensuring robust analysis and decision support /li liDrive a culture of data‑driven performance management and continuous improvement across finance and the wider organization /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 ul liUniversity degree in finance, economics or business administration with a strong focus on finance accounting and at least 5–7 years of experience in FPA or related functions /li liProven experience in FPA, accounting or risk management within a financial institution, supranational, public‑sector entity or similar environment /li liStrong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to link financial analysis to business implications and advice /li liHigh‑level know‑how of treasury and capital market transactions /li liExperience with SQL‑based reporting tools and the ability to work hands‑on with data /li liStrong communication skills and the capability to present and explain complex topics to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and Board members /li liCuriosity and willingness to continuously learn new areas in finance such as treasury, risk, accounting and database‑related topics /li liProactive mindset with the ability to lead initiatives, inspire change and work independently /li liExperience with SimCorp Dimension or strong willingness to learn /li liFluency in English; German is a plus /li liCollaborative and communicative personality with the ability to coach and develop others /li liAffinity to the railway sector and/or public sector organizations and their public‑service mission /li /ul h3About the Job /h3 pThe assignment is permanent.
