JOB DESCRIPTION As part of the expansion of our activities in French-speaking Switzerland , we are looking for a Mechanical Designer (M/F) . You will join an international R&D environment dedicated to the development and lifecycle management of innovative medical technologies. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to both new product development and sustaining engineering activities by creating, updating and maintaining high-quality mechanical designs and technical documentation. Your main responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, detailed mechanical drawings and product documentation. Create part, assembly, cable, packaging and labeling drawings. Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and dimensional assessments. Support product development and sustaining engineering activities. Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by updating CAD models, drawings and Bills of Materials. Maintain documentation within the Product Data Management system. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and product compliance. Participate in design reviews and continuous product improvement initiatives. YOUR PROFILE You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Mechatronics or an equivalent discipline. Required experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design. Previous experience within Medical Devices or another regulated industry. Strong experience using SolidWorks. Experience producing manufacturing drawings. Experience managing Engineering Changes. Experience working with Product Data Management systems such as Windchill. Technical skills SolidWorks GD&T / GPS Mechanical Design Windchill or equivalent PDM Manufacturing Drawings BOM Management Product Documentation Engineering Change Orders Additional assets Mechatronic systems Cable assemblies Packaging design Medical Device experience Languages Professional English required.
