ph3Mission /h3 pWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Geneva. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully installing, managing, and maintaining database systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our database infrastructure. Experience with Data Guard and RMAN is highly desirable, and familiarity with data lake implementation is a plus. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Database Administration /h3 ul liInstall, configure, monitor, and maintain database systems, including Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. /li liPerform database troubleshooting, including performance tuning, technical issue resolution, and backup/restore operations. /li liManage and administer corporate data to ensure consistency, accessibility, and security. /li liDefine and implement technical database architectures, including clustering, replication, and high‑availability solutions. /li liProvide database support for development teams, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of applications. /li liContribute to the design and implementation of data lake solutions (preferred but not mandatory). /li /ul h3Security Compliance /h3 ul liAdhere to and enforce the organization’s security framework, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. /li liMaintain a strong awareness of security best practices to protect the organization from vulnerabilities and potential exploits. /li liCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure database systems align with security and compliance requirements. /li /ul h3Collaboration Innovation /h3 ul liWork closely with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives and deliver high‑quality database solutions. /li liStay updated on emerging database technologies and trends, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 h3Skills Experience /h3 ul liMinimum of 3+ years of hands‑on experience in database administration. /li liProven expertise in managing and optimizing Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server databases. /li liExperience with Data Guard and RMAN is highly desirable. /li liExperience in data lake implementation is a plus. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liProficiency in database management tools and technologies, including DataGuard, RMAN, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. /li liStrong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and high‑availability solutions. /li liFamiliarity with database security best practices and compliance standards. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. /li liResults‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality solutions. /li liDetail‑oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently under pressure. /li liFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFluency in English and French is required. /li /ul h3Core Competencies /h3 pAdherence to the company’s values: Dedication, Conviction, Agility and Responsibility - Compliance with regulations and internal directives /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
