This role is critical in bridging business vision and technical execution, ensuring that our AI solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with the Forum’s mission and long-term strategy. The Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Forum’s digital platforms and products, enabling seamless engagement and knowledge sharing for our global community. As part of this team, your role will be to set the vision, draw the high level architecture principles and build an internal practice responsible for end-to-end AI solutions delivery. /ppbReporting Lines Interactions /b /ppPart of the Forum IT Team, the AI Solution Architecture Lead reports to the Head of Engineering. You’ll be working closely with Product and Technology Platform Leads. /ppbThe successful candidate will be assessed on /b /pliProvide technical leadership to a specialized team of consultants, guiding the design and implementation of robust applications and data flows across diverse platforms (Events, Knowledge, Staff Efficiency). /liliServe as the bridge between product management and engineering, ensuring technical decisions support product objectives and enhance user experience. /liliDefine and evolve the AI technical roadmap, aligning with long-term product vision and business strategy. /liliAnticipate technical challenges, plan for scalability and performance, and design architectures that accommodate both immediate needs and strategic growth. /liliGovern architectural decisions and technical standards, collaborating closely with platform leads, product teams, and engineering managers to drive alignment and adoption of best practices. /liliDevelop and maintain shared semantic models (ontologies) representing core business concepts, ensuring consistency and interoperability across data sources, APIs, and AI systems. /lipbFormula for Success /b /pliAdvanced university degree in a technical or relevant field. /liliProven experience in end-to-end AI solution architecture across heterogeneous platforms (e.g., Salesforce, APIs/Microservices, Web, Mobile). /liliExpertise in data integration, system interoperability, and semantic modelling/ontology design. /liliGood knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and other vector database solutions. /liliStrong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, platform). /liliDemonstrated ability to provide architectural governance and establish technical standards. /liliDeep understanding of AI-driven solutions, including knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent agents. /liliExcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. /liliFluency in English, with excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills. /lipbWhy join us? /b /pbr/pJoin an independent and impartial organization with over 55 years of connecting leaders to make sense of global challenges and move the world forward together. /p
