Our client is an international organization located in Geneva.brThe Senior Statutory Consolidation Analyst will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to coordinate, consolidate and report financial performance. brbrKey Responsibilities: brbrStatutory Reporting ConsolidationbrContribute to the quarterly consolidation process, according to IFRS standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion and the drafting of the accounts and closing notes brCollect, analyse quarterly consolidation packages from subsidiaries and follow up open points brManage balance sheet reviews brEnsuring compliance with group accounting policies, tax regulations, and local GAAP, including support for the conversion to IFRS brbrbrFinancial Reporting SystemsbrHFM EPM Administration as part of the closing process brHFM reporting structure and hierarchy brAssist in the implementation of a new consolidation system brbrbrProcess Improvement and OptimizationbrIdentify opportunities and drive recommendations to streamline the accounting processes to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy of financial databrStaying updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapting processes and SOPs accordingly brInitiating process improvements and streamlining reporting procedures brParticipate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application brUpdate reporting procedures based on ongoing projects and training of the financial communitybrbr7-month assignment starting early JulybrInternational organization located in GenevabrThe Senior Statutory Consolidation Analyst we are looking for will bring the following background and experience:br5-7 years of experience in a corporate/group finance position brQualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience, accounting and consolidation brAbility to prepare and present to senior management brSolid knowledge of the Hyperion Smartview and HFM brAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills brBusiness fluent in English, any further European language is an asset brStrong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information. brExcellent communication skills with the ability to structure your thoughts and derive action plans for your team to execute, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently across all staff and stakeholders' levels brTeam hands-on working stylebrGood organizational skills, autonomous and reliable brbrThe opportunity to join an international organization on a 7-month contract.brbr2 remote days per week....
