They manage a highly diversified portfolio spanning grains, oilseeds, animal feed and specialized food ingredients. In line with evolving market demands, the company has recently scaled into modern food science sectors. Driven by this ongoing global growth strategy, the company has recently established a new European presence and is actively seeking high‑caliber talent to join them. They are seeking a proven and experienced bSenior Proprietary Trader, Grains Oilseeds /b for this exciting opportunity in Geneva, Switzerland. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssume complete accountability for an independent trading book with a focus on delivering sustainable margin expansion. /li liDevelop and execute structured derivatives strategies to effectively mitigate downside risk across physical positions. /li liActively analyze and trade international price differentials, flat‑price movements and physical‑to‑futures variances. /li liPerform comprehensive technical and fundamental evaluations of international supply‑demand variables. /li liMonitor global macroeconomic events, agricultural yields, shipping fluctuations and environmental disruptions to optimize paper tisk. /li liConsistently evaluate risk metrics to maintain overall net positions safely within established internal boundaries. /li liPartner closely with control functions, including credit risk, trade finance and middle office, to facilitate transaction processing. /li liOversee daily trade matching operations and ensure the accuracy of mark‑to‑market valuations and financial reports. /li /ul p*responsibilities are truncated and non‑exhaustive. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Logistics or other relevant discipline /li li10+ years of advancing experience within derivative markets, with a strong focus on soft commodities especially grains and/or oilseeds bOR /b 10+ years of physical trading background in grains and/or oilseeds. Must have strong physical origination capabilities and a deep proficiency in executing hedging strategies on commodity exchanges to manage risk and maximize profit margins /li liDemonstrated history of delivering position trading returns with direct bottom‑line accountability /li liComprehensive understanding of listed futures, over‑the‑counter (OTC) products, clearing mechanisms and swap structures /li liAdvanced mathematical and analytical skills, with practical experience designing data‑driven market models /li liProfessional English proficiency is mandatory; conversational skills in French and/or German are highly desirable for seamless integration into the local business environment /li /ul pIf you are excited about this opportunity, apply bNOW! /b /p pDue to high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
