About the role

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide 2ndlevel IT support both onsite and remotely for all users of Sulzer Ltd primarily within the assigned region and if required across other regions

• Monitor and maintain the entire local IT infrastructure including desktop and mobile Windows devices MFPs companyspecific hardware and software user and access management servers network components etc.

• Install and configure enduser devices including mobile phones

• Handle hardware procurement and inventory management

• Receive analyze and resolve incidents and service requests within 2ndlevel support using standard IT tools

• Escalate incidents and service requests to 3rdlevel support external local service providers or management when required

• Perform tasks in accordance with ITIL standards primarily using the companys internal ticketing system ServiceNow (SNOW) while adhering to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Technically coordinate and set up video conferences (Microsoft Teams / Yealink)

• Manage and maintain internal meeting room infrastructure

• Collaborate on and support local and global IT projects

• Train and coach new employees and trainees

Special Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized IT support and daily assistance to VIP users including support during external executive meetings and town halls

• Member of a crossfunctional team (DevOps: Local IT Datacenter)

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Successfully completed IT education or training

• Several years of professional experience in 2nd and/or 3rdlevel IT support

• Experience in VIP support is an advantage (preferably in a comparable corporate environment)

• Broad knowledge in network (Cisco) DDC (Hyper-V) AD Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Azure Intune etc.

• ITIL and/or Microsoft certifications (Server / Client / Network) are an advantage

• Very good English skills and good German skills would be a strong advantage.

• Strong customer and serviceoriented mindset

• Analytical structured and solutionoriented approach

• Ability to work independently as well as in a teamoriented environment

• Flexibility regarding tasks and working hours and willingness to undertake occasional business travel

• Availability to work in shift hours (7am - 4pm / 9am - 6pm)
