Viking is also rated a “World’s Best” by Travel + Leisure—no other travel company has simultaneously received such honors by both publications. /p pPlease note that we can only accept applicants who are eligible to work in Switzerland or in possession of a valid work permit. /p h3Role Description /h3 ul liThe Executive Director Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) and Process Innovation to join and lead our Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Viking European Head Office in Basel /li liThe position is key in supporting dynamic operational growth by providing key stakeholders with insights for strategic decision making and resource allocation /li liExecutive Director FPA and Process Innovation is responsible for continuous process optimization and championing AI-driven initiatives /li liThe position reports to the Vice President Ocean Accounting /li /ul h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead a small group of Senior Experts in Financial Planning Analysis /li liLead all strategic short- and long-term financial planning budgeting activities /li liDrive innovation projects, implementation of AI-driven solutions across FPA, serve as a senior AI innovation expert for Leadership team in the Finance Department /li liProvide key insights into market trends /li liLead continuous process improvement, harmonization of the planning process, identify cost optimizations and opportunities for implementation of new solutions /li liPartner with Key stakeholders to understand and deliver relevant forecasts based on accurate assumptions /li /ul h3Key Qualifications /h3 ul li10-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of experience in FPA with a strong focus on digital innovation, documented experience in leading AI-innovation projects is strongly preferred /li liStrong leadership and people development experience /li liAbility to translate financial drivers into actionable insights, strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills /li liStrong project management skills and documented experience in process optimization projects /li liDetail oriented, accuracy driven and process-oriented thinking /li liA hands‑on approach with a make‑it‑happen mindset /li liExcellent communication skills in English /li /ul h3EDUCATION /h3 ul liCompleted Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics /li /ul h3COMMUNITY CULTURE /h3 ul liFast‑growing and dynamic environment, a modern workspace, flexible working hours /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
