In this role, you will drive integration between perfumery operations, creations, and the perfumery growth office, to ensure a seamless scale-up of new perfumery product creations industrialization, enabling symmetric health in manufacturing with efficient processes and use of materials, streamlining formulation portfolios, and enhancing supply chain responsiveness. You will work at the intersection of creation innovation operations, ensuring that fragrance development aligns with business growth, operations efficiency and sustainability goals. The role is a core function on synchronizing the safety, quality, formulation, Total delivery cost management and upstream creation and re-/Formulation. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEstablish efficient and reliable scaling up process for perfumery liquid technologies, including industrializing new products, new formulations and new processes. /li liEnsure formulas introduced for manufacturing are cost‑effective, manufacturable and supply‑resilient. /li liDeliver sustainable value by leading the process and material optimization of perfumery liquid technologies through optimal use of GCPs, GMPs etc. toward Total Delivery Cost reduction and avoidance. /li liDevelop and optimize fragrance solutions in manufacturing formulations that meet creative, regulatory, safety, quality and technical requirements, serving manufacturing teams by optimizing formulas and material choices for scalability and production supply chain efficiency. /li liCollaborate with perfumery operations and perfumery growth office to identify and eliminate complexity drivers. /li liDevelop the “Right First Time – formula Design Qualification” capability in Operations. /li liDrive “Right First Time” execution by ensuring liquid formulations transferred among plants are robust and manufacturing‑ready in conjunction with other functions, i.e., Growth office, Procurement, etc. /li liAlign with Material Strategy Solutions, ingredients and procurement to standardize and rationalize the Active Material List and potentially upstream RM palettes across categories. /li liImprove manufacturing yield, operating cost and process simplification, including alternative material proposals. /li liPartner with cross‑functional teams (growth office, regulatory, RD, SNO, and others) to align on strategic goals. /li liContribute to sustainability, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives that support our Perfumery SHAPE strategy of growth, efficiency and synchronization. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liOpportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues from all over the world. /li liDeep dive into the supply chain industry. /li liDiverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities. /li liA culture that prioritizes safety and well‑being, both physically and mentally. /li liBarrier‑free communities within our organization where every employee is equally valued and respected regardless of their background, beliefs or identity. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBSc / MSc degree in engineering, chemistry, fragrance technology or other related fields. /li li+8 years of hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with manufacturing process optimization knowledge and preferably experience in perfume liquid technologies, with a proven track record of technical (re)formulation. /li liStrong understanding of perfume raw material functions, performance, regulatory and safety constraints. /li liExperience working in or with operations, procurement or supply‑chain teams. /li liDemonstrated ability to balance creative formulation with operational and cost considerations. /li liFamiliarity with formulation and process systems (compounding, filling packaging) and data analysis. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, project management and presentation skills, and experience presenting to senior leaders. /li liFluent in English and (preferably French) – knowledge of another language is a plus. /li liAbility to clearly communicate technical information to non‑technical stakeholders. /li liBackground in FMCG, home or personal care or fragrance industry. /li liExperience in complexity or portfolio reduction initiatives. /li liExposure to digital tools for complexity tracking and formulation simplification. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pWe’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we’re serious about making our hiring process as fair and inclusive as possible.
