POSITION DESCRIPTION As part of the development of our aeronautical activities, we are looking for an Electrical / Avionic Design Engineer . Reporting to a technical manager, you will be involved in the design, modification, integration, and validation of electrical and avionic systems for aerospace applications. Your responsibilities Design and develop electrical and avionic systems: Power generation, distribution, and electrical networks Communication and data systems Embedded systems and onboard equipment Safety and monitoring systems Perform engineering studies and produce technical documentation: System specifications and functional definitions Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams Layout drawings, wiring lists, and equipment documentation Installation and modification documentation Contribute to project activities: Support technical proposals, RFQs, and material definition Selection of equipment, components, and materials Management of engineering changes (ECO / PCR) Ensure validation, testing, and certification: Preparation of ground and functional test procedures Commissioning and testing of electrical/avionic systems Compliance documentation, safety and reliability analysis Interface with stakeholders: Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams Coordination with certification and airworthiness teams Interaction with suppliers and technical partners Contribute to continuous improvement: Development of engineering standards and best practices Optimization of system architectures and integration YOUR PROFILE Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Avionics Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or avionic design Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries is a plus Technical skills Electrical and/or avionic system design Wiring diagrams and system integration Tools: MS Office (Visio), CAD software Knowledge of certification standards is a plus Soft skills Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Team player with a results-driven approach Strong commitment to quality, safety, and reliability WHY JOIN FORTIL?
