Our client is a major player in the manufacturing and industrial sector, focused on leveraging digital transformation across its operations. You will work closely with cross-functional technical and business teams, driving key MES (Manufacturing Execution System) initiatives that support production and operational excellence.

About the Role :

As an IT Project Manager – MES Applications , you will take ownership of end-to-end MES project delivery. From project planning to execution and final handover, you'll ensure that all phases align with client expectations, timelines, and quality standards. While this is not a hands-on coding role, your strong technical background will help guide teams and ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

This is an on-site role based in Geneva, Switzerland , for an initial -month contract , with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Leadership : Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of MES projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Client Engagement : Serve as the main point of contact for the client, managing expectations and ensuring high satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Coordination : Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technical staff, and external vendors to ensure project success.

Documentation & Reporting : Maintain all required project documentation, track progress against milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Technical Oversight : Oversee the technical direction of the project to ensure solutions align with client specifications and feasibility, even though the role is not hands-on.

Preferred Skills :

• years of overall IT experience, with a strong background in MES applications .

Proven track record in leading end-to-end IT projects, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Experience working with third-party vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
