Work Hours/Schedule: Monday-Saturday. Parking positions can start at 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sports security will follow Geneva Athletics schedule and Reeves Stadium schedule for high school games.
Primary purpose of position: Enforce parking policy on campus, placing tickets on vehicles without permits and vehicles parked in incorrect lots. Observe and manage crowd control for major sporting events on campus.
Duties and responsibilities: 1. Place tickets on vehicles without permits and vehicles parked in incorrect lots.2. Coordinate with security officers to observe crowds from athletic events. #LI-DNI
Knowledge, skills and abilities required: 1. Thoroughly understand the campus parking policy.2. Neatly write tickets.3. Report summary of violations to Director or security officer.4. De-escalate conflict.5. Gather evidence.6. Communicate hazards and threats.7. Secure and lock doors.8. Standing for prolonged periods of time.9. Patrolling during inclement weather.
Education Requirements/Experience: HS Diploma, General interest in law enforcement, sports, or motor vehicles.
