Tiger Pause After-School Program Tutor

Work Hours/Schedule: 6-8 hours/week: Must commit to 2 days/week Work hours are between 3:30-5:30pm Monday-Thursday.

Primary purpose of position: Work study students will be assisting in an after school program for elementary-age children in several locations off campus.

Duties and responsibilities: Work with individual students or with a small group of students as instructed by facilitators from Tiger Pause, Help motivate students, Provide support for Tiger Pause staff including serving meals and cleaning. #LI-DNI

Knowledge, skills and abilities required: A desire to interact with children or youth in a task directed manner, Flexibility and patience, Responsible and self-motivated, Ability to take initiative, Must have energy and balance responsibility and play.

Education Requirements/Experience: No experience necessary; interest in children required

Additional Information:

This is located off-campus and transportation is limited. However, carpooling is a possibility. Students are required to attend an orientation and training session at the start of each semester. Students are hired pending completion of all clearances
