Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturing client in Jackson, Tennessee who is hiring a Plant Controller. This client is looking for someone who will overseeing the month-end close and budgeting, payroll, and preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports for management in labor, overhead, scrap, and inventory. Responsibilities :
- Supervise and direct the activities of the accounting department staff
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective action
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Develop and maintain operational and financial controls
- Prepare and manage annual budget and forecast
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee records
- Coordinate and review external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Manufacturing experience (required)
- Experience with cost reduction strategy
- Experience with sku's
- Experience with leadership of a large team
