General description of the Role
The resource will be part of the sales team and will be responsible for the customer spectrum related to Off Trade, including Retail and convenience stores, reporting to the Leader of the OFF premise channel.
Moreover, the resource will be in charge of building new customer relationships in emerging strategic business areas and supporting the Line Manager in developing the strategy for the retail in scope.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
The resource will deal with the following key activities :
- Key account management - maintenance and expansion of existing business relationships
- Identifying portfolio expansion / optimization among the assigned customers and contribute to overarching strategy / brand plans.
- Development and implementation of specific investment plans (promotional plans) for assigned customer
- Preparing and execution of the annual customer meetings & negotiations for the directly assigned customers
- Full budget responsibility for the assigned customers
- Support in the development of strategic plans for new customer groups
- Overall responsibility for monthly volume planning (APO) of assigned customers, including own planning of assigned customer group
- Affinity / experience in convenience store approach
Key relationships
Internal : Customer Marketing Department, Marketing and Finance Teams, Sales Support, On Trade Team
External : Retail customers, agencies in the retail environment
Education / Professional Qualifications
- University degree (or equivalent) in business administration
- Further education in sales / marketing is a plus
- Fluently in German and English, French is a plus
- Experience in the spirits / beverage industry is a plus
- Experience in retail is a must sales / purchasing / marketing / PM)
- At least 4-year experience in FMCG environment, preferably in spirits / beverage industry
- At least 2-year experience as a Key Account Manager (Sales), preferably in the beverage industry
