Job Description
- Demonstrates leadership in HSEQ, ensuring all scaffold and lifting activities meet safety regulations. Conducts risk assessments, enforces compliance, and stops work when safety is compromised.
- Ensures all lifting operations are planned, organized, and executed by competent personnel. Oversees crane selection, equipment suitability, and safe slinging / signaling arrangements. Maintains and inspects lifting gear, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Plans and supervises scaffold erection, ensuring proper weight limitations, fall protection, and tie-offs. Conducts final inspections before use, verifies structural integrity, and oversees modifications or repairs.
- Acts as the main point of contact for scaffold and lifting coordination. Chairs regular meetings with contractors to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient execution of work.
- Conducts regular audits on scaffolding and lifting equipment, ensuring all gear is marked with appropriate safety information and undergoes periodic examinations. Prevents unauthorized use of lifting equipment.
- Ensures all personnel involved in lifting and scaffold operations are trained and competent. Provides guidance on best practices, supervises work, and delivers lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Maintains detailed records of inspections, risk assessments, and safety measures. Ensures compliance with legal and project requirements while keeping site management informed of all relevant activities.
- Implemented measures to prevent unauthorized movement of cranes and scaffolding. Ensures a safe work environment by securing areas at risk, controlling access, and enforcing safety protocols.
