Core Responsibilities

• Implement new methods and algorithms for dual layer images
• Use of parallel programming (GPU) to enhande performance of image processing algorithms
• Perform imaging experiments in the lab for testing, proof-of-concept and troubleshooting investigations
• Document design and test specifications of image processing algorithms
• Support of field service engineers and contact person for field request

Desired Qualifications

• M.Sc or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Experience in high-performance computing (e. g. CUDA)
• Proficiency with modern version control systems (e. g. GIT)
• Strong scientific background
• Analytical and highly structured mind
• Knowledge in the field of x-ray systems is a plus
• Fluency in German and English language

In this new position in a team of around ten highly competent engineers and scientists you will be working on the development and integration of the x-ray systems for our radiation therapy linear accelerators
