In this role, you will leverage your internal audit and business experience to deliver risk-based and complex audit projects.

This may include a wide range of topics such as post-merger integrations or major business transformation.

Your Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will conduct special audits which are coming from a risk-based approach and / or are focused to create value-add for Kuehne+Nagel Senior Management.

The objective is to catch-up with the innovation and direction of Kuehne+Nagel Leadership, bringing in disruptive ideas to conduct audits going forward, cover emerging risks and ad-hoc requests from Board of Directors and Management Board.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead topical audits across the organization, document and report audit results in accordance with professional standards for internal auditing
• Influence the business by agreeing on corrective actions and delivering clear, concise and insightful audit reports
• Advise management on control effectiveness, change initiatives and business effectiveness and efficiency
• Recommend remediation actions to improve the effectiveness of controls and operational procedures (DE / OE)
• As a member of our Special Audit Team, you will lead and support the execution of complex special audits, in managing stakeholder expectation and propose Special Audits to senior management
• Support the development and implementation of internal audit methodologies / procedures

Your Skills and Experiences

• Minimum of 5 years of internal audit-related experience, preferably with a big 4 firm or a corporate audit function
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented
• Self-starter who can adapt quickly to a changing environment
• Prior exposure auditing complex programs is a must
• Good project management skills and the ability to organize complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with data analytics as part of the audit work
• Experience in Compliance & Forensic is a plus
