Senior Manager - Clienteling, Trade & Experiential Marketing

The person in this position will report to the CMO, and will have a team of 2 people.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Trade Marketing Coordination : Lead and manage trade marketing activities, across international markets.
  • Strategy Development : Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Customer Management : Craft and implement strategies to curate exceptional customer journeys, focusing on engagement, retention, and loyalty programs tailored to high-net-worth individuals and affluent clientele.
  • Clienteling Initiatives : Drive initiatives to cultivate and enhance relationships with key clients through personalized services and targeted marketing efforts.
  • CRM Program Development : Establish and oversee a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program designed to segment customers, personalize communications, and optimize the customer lifecycle management process.
  • Product Launch Strategy : Collaborate with product development teams to create comprehensive launch strategies for new collections, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and market trends.
  • Luxury Retail Excellence : Implement initiatives to elevate the luxury retail experience, including training retail staff on brand heritage, product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experiential Marketing : Develop and execute experiential marketing strategies to create unforgettable brand experiences, including exclusive events, VIP dinners, and private viewings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless alignment and integration of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within trade marketing activities.
  • Budget Management : Effectively manage trade marketing budgets to ensure optimal allocation and ROI.

PROFILE

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in trade marketing within the luxury goods sector, demonstrating successful project management and team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury goods market, with a solid grasp of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor landscape.
  • Strategic Leadership : Ability to develop and execute innovative trade marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Customer Journey Management : Experience in crafting and implementing personalized customer journey strategies for high-net-worth individuals and affluent clientele, enhancing engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • CRM Expertise : Proficiency in developing and managing CRM programs to segment customers, personalize communications, and optimize customer lifecycle management.
  • Product Launch Excellence : Track record of collaborating effectively with product teams to devise and execute impactful product launch strategies that resonate with target audiences and uphold brand positioning.
  • Retail Excellence : Strong understanding of luxury retail standards and practices, with a history of implementing initiatives to elevate the retail experience and ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Experiential Marketing : Ability to conceive and execute experiential marketing initiatives that create memorable brand experiences, including exclusive events, VIP dinners, and private viewings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Proven capability to foster collaborative relationships across departments, particularly with sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure seamless alignment and integration of trade marketing efforts.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical capabilities, adept at conducting comprehensive market analysis and deriving actionable insights to inform decision-making and optimize trade marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management : Demonstrated financial acumen in effectively managing trade marketing budgets, ensuring prudent allocation and maximizing ROI for all initiatives.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Fluency in both French and English languages, with the ability to communicate effectively in multicultural environments.
