THE ROLE
Based in Verbier, Switzerland Full time (100%) From 1 Jul. 2024 until 30 Apr. 2025
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic eCommerce & Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship gives you the opportunity to learn from some of the fastest-growing brands in the Snowsports industry.
As a member of the eCommerce team, you will work in a fast-paced, international environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of eCommerce and Digital Marketing.
Responsibilities
With the support of your manager, you will learn to :
Content Management
- Support the eCommerce team in the day to day running of the websites
- Lead website content updates in-line with seasonal campaigns and activations
- Manage website translations in collaboration with native German and French speakers
- Ensure all copy and content is SEO optimised and enriched
- Perform ad hoc updates to product pages, landing pages and categories
- Run regular site walks and identify areas of opportunity for improving customer experience and site conversion
- Suggest new and innovative ways to improve the onsite customer experience
- Delve into the website analytics, finding potential friction points in the customer journey
- Perform regular competitor research & analysis (current offers, website changes, etc)
Digital Marketing
- Engage with and support the day to day running of our ad campaigns on Google and Meta, with guidance and support from the eCommerce & Marketing team
- Own and manage the weekly reporting of Digital Marketing activities
- Suggest improvements to our Digital Marketing activities by analysing the data from previous campaigns and tests
- Monitor competitor activity, identify trends and opportunities where a market / s can maximise sales
Requirements
- Fluent in English (French and / or German would be a plus)
- Strong computer literacy
- Interest in website design (UI / UX)
- Good Excel skills (e.g. lookups and pivot tables)
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms (Google ads Manager / Meta Business Suite)
- Experience with copywriting
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with HTML
- Comfortable using new technologies & software
