Job description:
Marketing Content Specialist
Location: Bern, Switzerland remote, work-from-home
Salary: CHF 60,000 - CHF 75,000 per year
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to support and execute marketing initiatives across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on telecom network operations.
This role is centred on adapting global campaigns into regionally relevant content that resonates with fibre network providers and
supports pipeline growth. You will work closely with global marketing, product marketing, and regional stakeholders to deliver content aligned with campaign strategy and the realities of EMEA telecom markets.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring global campaign activity is successfully adapted and delivered across the EMEA region in a way that is both commercially relevant and technically credible.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Localising global campaigns for EMEA telecom markets, ensuring messaging reflects regional priorities, nuances, and regulatory
considerations
- Creating multi-channel marketing content, including blogs, social media posts, emails, landing pages, and campaign support materials
- Developing and promoting content aligned with campaign objectives, target audiences, and regional market priorities
- Turning campaign briefs into clear content plans, selecting the right formats, messaging, and distribution channels
- Supporting tradeshow and event marketing with region-specific messaging and pre- and post-event content
- Working with subject matter experts to communicate technical topics such as fibre network management, GIS, and network operations in an accessible way
- Collaborating with product marketing, sales, and regional teams to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business needs
- Maintaining brand consistency, while allowing for appropriate regional nuance
- Monitoring content and campaign performance, using insights to optimise future activity
Qualifications:
Key Requirements
We are looking for a marketing professional with at least 3 years experience in B2B marketing, ideally gained within telecom, SaaS, or another technical environment.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience supporting regional or international marketing initiatives, ideally across EMEA
- A strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Additional language skills would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Experience using HubSpot, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Exposure to basic video editing would be beneficial
- An understanding of telecom network operations, fibre infrastructure, or related markets would be highly valuable
- Exposure to utility markets, such as electricity or gas, would be of interest as the business expands
Why is This a Great Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business operating in a specialist and evolving market, where marketing plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and commercial growth across the EMEA region.
You will have the chance to work in a fully remote role, collaborate with international stakeholders, and shape content that supports both regional relevance and global campaign success.
