About Drop

Drop is a cross-chain liquid staking protocol for Interchain assets, backed by Lido . Led by former contributors to Lido and P2P, Drop is on a mission to unlock the nascent power of billions of dollars of liquidity now frozen in traditional staking across Celestia, Cosmos Hub, and other IBC-enabled chains. Built on Neutron , Drop is creating a tightly integrated ecosystem around secure liquid staking assets, using its unique cross-chain smart contract architecture to enable innovative use cases and high-yield strategies for users. About the role :

In this role, as a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s market presence by acquiring influential clients, building strategic partnerships, and driving long-term growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Acquire new users among Liquid funds, Individual whales, DAOs, and other top token holders.
  • Nurture customer relationships to find new opportunities and grow business with them.
  • Establish new partnerships with DeFi projects, wallets, custodians, and self-custody platforms.
  • Create and implement strategies to drive growth and achieve business development goals.
  • Monitor market trends and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align business development strategies with marketing campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry events : Attend conferences, webinars, and other events to network and promote the protocol.
  • Develop and maintain strategic alliances : Foster long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the DeFi and blockchain communities.

Qualifications :

  • Deep knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem, with familiarity with various blockchains, DeFi platforms, and basic blockchain analytics
  • 2+ years in Business Development role within the industry
  • Strong network and relationships within the blockchain industry, including key stakeholders and influencers
  • Robust existing connections in the DeFi and wider Web3 community
  • Proven background in a rapidly growing tech company environment
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills : Can create compelling proposals and lead successful negotiations.
  • Strategic thinker : Able to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and secure key partnerships.
  • Proven track record of driving user acquisition and engagement : Successful in onboarding individual token holders and institutions to increase protocol TVL.
  • Analytical skills : Capable of analyzing market trends, user behaviors, and other data to guide business development strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : Experienced in a startup environment, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
