Role Overview
Switzerland is our strategic expansion market where Planet through its Property Management System (Rebag) and Ecommerce Gateway (Datatrans) has already a strong presence. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our sales team as a Business Development Manager focus in the Swiss market. This is a 100% new business sales role with a primary focus on building strong relationships with decision makers in the Retail, Hospitality, and F&B segments. The goal is to secure new customers for our core suite of products and services (Gateway, Acquiring, DCC, Tax Free). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities within a specific, regionally and or vertically defined area. Key responsibilities include all tasks related to successful sales cycle management, such as proposal creation, product presentations, and the development and implementation of an individual sales strategy within your designated market.
What You Will Do
- Expand and secure the company's market position within Switzerland
- Take sales responsibility for specific areas in terms of acquiring new customers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales targets.
- Maximise revenue opportunities and ensure business profitability.
- Work closely with Partnership team to convert new business opportunities coming from referral partners (Industry Associations, Till system providers etc).
- Conduct contract negotiations.
- Plan and conduct product presentations on-site or remotely for prospects and existing customers.
- Provide advice on our products and new developments to prospects.
- Represent Planet on key industry events, trade fairs and marketing activities in Switzerland to drive market awareness and pipeline growth.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding offers, contracts, and products.
- Liaise with other departments and our sales partners. Contribute to the broader sales team by sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
- Monitor competitors and help sharpen Planet value proposition.
