Senior Financial Analyst – Join Our Global Team in Basel

Are you passionate about making an impact and bringing your expertise to a collaborative environment? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) at Abbott’s global headquarters in Basel.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping financial insights that support strategic decisions across our Operations and Quality Assurance teams. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and cross-functional partners in Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring that your contributions help drive innovation and excellence.

What You’ll Do

Lead with confidence : Manage the month-end closing process across global sites, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.

Collaborate and connect : Partner with diverse teams to consolidate financial data and provide meaningful insights that influence business outcomes.

Drive strategy : Support planning cycles, including annual plans and forecasts, and deliver reports that empower leadership decisions.

Innovate and improve : Enhance reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Qlik) to make data accessible and actionable.

Support growth : Assist in resource management and project coordination, contributing to initiatives that shape the future of our organization.

What We’re Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA are a plus).

3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, ideally in a multinational environment.

Strong skills in SAP, Hyperion HFM , and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik).

Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations .

A mindset that values collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement .

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
