Interim Investment & Risk Analyst

Our client is a well-established financial services organisation with a strong focus on risk management, analytics and innovation. This 6-month contract assignment is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative and business-critical function. Support daily P&L control activities and investigate valuation or reporting issues Analyse profitability drivers and risk exposures across a oad portfolio of financial instruments Prepare concise management reporting and provide actionable business insights Identify opportunities to improve and automate business processes using modern technologies Develop, maintain and enhance analytical tools, dashboards and data products Collaborate closely with stakeholders across finance, risk and business functions Contribute to data-driven decision-making through robust analysis and reporting Drive P&L, risk analytics and business process improvements Build data products that influence key business decisions 4+ years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Risk Analyst, Market Risk Analyst, Quant Analyst or similar Strong understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives Sound knowledge of valuation methodologies and profitability measurement concepts Excellent Python programming skills with experience in analytics and automation Proven ability to analyse and improve business processes and underlying business logic Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities High attention to detail with a structured and accurate working style Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders Experience with dashboards, data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) or analytical product development is advantageous Exposure to front-office systems and trading environments is beneficial Immediate start on a business-critical assignment Exposure to a dynamic financial markets environment Opportunity to shape analytical and reporting capabilities Close collaboration with experienced risk and finance professionals High visibility with senior stakeholders and decision-makers...
