Job Description

For our customer, an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern, we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

Responsibilities :

Perform experiments, document your work accurately, and verify results
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentation
Perform routine analytical measurements (HPLC, Filtration)
Prepare buffers for experiments
Manually operate complex filtration systems
Operate automated processes, including process monitoring

Qualifications

Lab technician education (EFZ Biology / Chemistry) or bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology (or equivalent institution of higher education) in a relevant field. Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry is also valued

Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills

Able to work in a team as well as semi-autonomously; establish priorities and proceed with objectives according to the team's goals

Think outside of the box to find solutions to problems

Good communication and organizational skills

Language proficiency : Fluent in German and English
