APPRENTICE FORESTIER / BÛCHERONThe Municipality of Montreux is looking for a : We offer you : - An opportunity to discover the exciting and varied profession of forest worker / bucheron- An excellent position within a dynamic and professional team- A very safe working environment, for which we have already received several awards- Expertise in all types of forestry work- A territory of hectares, including of forests, rich in biodiversity and part of the Gruyère Pays d’Enhaut regional parkMain tasks : - Participate in logging according to the rules of art and safety- Collaborate on forestry works and transport trees to a storage location using means such as tractors, cable cars, cable cranes, helicopters, and contribute to the maintenance of paths, trails, and pastures- Contribute to clearing areas, opening pathways, and waterways- Maintain machines and contribute to snow removal and storm damage workDesired profile : - Interest in working in an outdoor environment and manual skills- Very good team spirit- Holder of a secondary school diploma- Also open to profiles who have already started a vocational training programSpecial conditions : - Have completed a selection internship within our forestry section- Start date : August 1st or to be agreed uponFor further information, please contact Mr. A.
