ppvacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Energy sector /ph3Your tasks: /h3ulliDesign a unified log management architecture across Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel and long-term storage /liliDefine intelligent log forwarding and routing rules to direct data to the most appropriate destination based on business need and cost /liliArchitect a searchable, low-cost log archive in AWS and Azure for troubleshooting, forensics and compliance /liliModel, compare and optimise ingestion, retention and search costs, including filtering and sampling to reduce volume at source /liliDefine data models, retention policies, deletion rules and governance standards for log data /liliBuild and manage DataOps.live pipelines and collaborate with technical and finance stakeholders to support implementation /li /ulh3Your experience/knowledge: /h3ulliProven experience as a Data Architect or Platform Architect with a focus on log management, observability or security data architecture /liliHands-on experience with Datadog and Microsoft Sentinel, including a strong understanding of their pricing and cost drivers /liliExperience designing log routing frameworks and searchable long-term storage solutions for large-scale log data /liliWorking knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including storage, identity and cost management /liliExperience with DataOps.live or a comparable DataOps/orchestration tool /liliLanguage skills: English /liliYour soft skills: /liliStrong analytical thinking and sound judgement when balancing technical and financial requirements /liliExcellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and explaining complex decisions clearly /liliStructured and detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability /li /ulh3Ref.Nr.: /h3ulliDue to Swiss work permit restrictions, we can only consider applications from Swiss nationals, EU citizens, and current work-permit holders for Switzerland /liliWe welcome applications from individuals of all genders, age groups, sexual orientations, personal expressions, ethnic backgrounds, and religious beliefs.
