As a Maître d'Hôtel at Nestlé Research, your mission is to ensure smooth, efficient and high-quality food and beverage service across our restaurants, coffee areas and events. You'll make a difference by collaborating closely with service teams, kitchen colleagues, event partners and support functions.
How you'll make an impact as a Maître d'Hôtel
Leading smooth daily service operations across restaurants, coffee areas and events to deliver a consistent guest experience.
Driving service excellence through high standards of presentation, timing, hospitality and attention to detail.
Coordinating closely with kitchen, events and support teams to ensure seamless preparation and delivery.
Improving buffet concepts and service flows with practical ideas that enhance quality, aesthetics and guest satisfaction.
Ensuring strong food safety standards, operational discipline and cost awareness across all service areas.
Building an inclusive, supportive and high-performing team culture through clear communication, coaching and delegation.
What will make you successful
Bringing strong front-of-house leadership in food and beverage service, with the ability to guide teams in fast-paced environments.
Applying hands-on experience in multi-outlet food and beverage environments, including restaurants, banquets and cafeterias, with an understanding of different service formats and guest expectations.
Using food safety, hygiene and cost-awareness practices to support safe, efficient and sustainable operations.
Coordinating event and banqueting operations from setup to service delivery, including high-volume service, cross-team alignment and smooth guest experiences.
Communicating fluently in English and French.
Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.
