We are looking for a technically skilled professional with a strong background in systems administration and infrastructure operations to join our Workload Automation and Managed File Transfer (MFT) team.
The role combines daily operational activities with engineering and project work. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of enterprise scheduling and file transfer platforms, while also contributing to upgrades, migrations, integrations, and technology evolution initiatives.
Working closely with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and external vendor teams, the candidate will progressively take ownership of the managed platforms and related technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise Scheduling and Managed File Transfer platforms.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs, workflows, batch processes, and file transfer flows.
- Handle incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support to internal teams.
- Administer secure communication technologies, including SFTP, HTTPS, SSH, TLS, certificates, and PGP/GPG.
- Develop automation solutions, scripts, and integrations to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Automation, Middleware, or Application Support environments.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
- Experience with Workload Automation solutions (Automic/UC4, Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler, or similar) and/or Managed File Transfer platforms (Primeur Data One, GoAnywhere, Axway, IBM Sterling, MOVEit, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of secure file transfer and encryption technologies (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSH, TLS, PGP/GPG).
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of networking concepts and system integration principles.
Experience with Broadcom Automic Automation (UC4), Primeur Data One, REST APIs, SQL, Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jira, and Confluence will be considered a plus.
