With 30 offices in 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the development of individual potential. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs part of the development of our activities in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a bSenior Hardware Engineer (M/F) /b with strong expertise in analog electronics, power electronics and EMC. /p pYou will join a multidisciplinary engineering team involved in the development of advanced electronic products for demanding environments. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and develop analog, mixed-signal and power electronic boards. /li liDefine hardware architectures and translate system requirements into robust electronic solutions. /li liDesign DC-DC converters, power supplies, protection circuits and low-noise power architectures. /li liPerform schematic design, component selection and support PCB layout activities. /li liDefine layout constraints related to power, EMC, grounding, shielding, thermal behavior and signal quality. /li liConduct board bring-up, debugging, verification and qualification activities. /li liInvestigate and solve issues related to EMI/EMC, ripple, load transients, thermal behavior or power stability. /li liContribute to design reviews, technical trade-offs and risk analyses. /li liEnsure DFM, DFA, DFT and maintainability considerations throughout the development process. /li liProduce and maintain design, validation and manufacturing documentation. /li liSupport industrialization activities and transfer designs into production. /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 pYou hold a Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field. /p pYou have minimum10 years of experience in hardware development, with a strong background in analog electronics, DC-DC converters, power architecture, EMC and board-level validation. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liSenior experience in electronic hardware development. /li liStrong experience in analog electronics and/or power electronics. /li liExperience with DC-DC converters, power supplies or power architecture. /li liGood understanding of EMC / EMI design constraints. /li liExperience in schematic design and component selection. /li liExperience in board bring-up, debugging, verification and validation. /li liAbility to work on low-noise, high-reliability and thermally constrained electronic systems. /li liHands‑on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers or similar equipment. /li liStrong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary and international environment. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience in aerospace, airborne, automotive, medical device or industrial equipment environments. /li liExperience with PCB layout or close collaboration with PCB layout engineers. /li liExperience with signal integrity or power integrity. /li liExperience with tools such as Altium Designer, LTspice, PSpice, Ansys, HyperLynx or equivalent. /li liKnowledge of DFM / DFA / DFT methodologies. /li liExperience with industrialization, supplier follow‑up or production support. /li liExposure to environmental constraints such as vibration, thermal cycling or reliability testing. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFluent English is mandatory. /li liFrench is a plus. /li /ul h3WHY JOIN US /h3 pAt Fortil, we implement concrete levers to support your growth and ensure a stimulating work environment: /p ul liContinuous support for skill development. /li liAn ecosystem that encourages stepping out of your comfort zone. /li liThe opportunity to become a shareholder. /li liEngagement in social and community projects. /li liA dedicated parental support policy. /li /ul pFortil is committed to equal opportunities.
