Lead Technical Architect

Job Description:

Lead Temenos Transact Technical Architect required to lead and deliver Desktop-to-Browser migration as part of a Transact transformation programme. The role involves assessment, remediation, testing, and deployment of custom developments to ensure browser compatibility and uninterrupted business operations in a complex, multi-phase transformation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive, structured assessment of all existing Desktop-based customizations, identifying browser compatibility gaps and remediation risks.
• Remediate and upgrade custom Enquiries, Versions, Routines, Hooks, and APIs.
• Execute rigorous impact analysis and own browser transformation workstreams end-to-end, tracking progress against defined project milestones.
• Lead deployment and production go-live activities, managing risks, dependencies, and rollback contingencies across concurrent workstreams.
• Drive coordinated delivery across business, technical, infrastructure, and project management teams, balancing competing priorities within strict deadlines in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Maintain accurate progress reporting against project milestones and proactively escalate delivery risks to the programme manager.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on Temenos Transact (T24) implementation experience across complex, multi-phase banking programmes.
• Demonstrated expertise in Temenos Browser implementation with deep working knowledge of Temenos Desktop architecture and configuration.
• Expertise in Enquiries, Versions, InfoBasic/jBASE, OFS, APIs, and Hooks.
• VB scripting and Java scripting
• *Strong hands-on experience in Infobasic/jBase coding
• Proven delivery track record in desktop-to-browser transformation projects of comparable complexity, scope, and scale.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under tight delivery deadlines, with structured testing and deployment skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, meet project milestones, and operate effectively within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary banking transformation programme.
