Our full list of tailored local benefits in Visp can be found on:9cd58bc563c44174b5a4f5fedd /p h3bWhat you’ll do: /b /h3 pLead all engineering activities across multiple manufacturing plants and technologies, managing supervisors, engineers, and specialists. /p pOversee all people management responsibilities, including hiring, development, coaching, performance management, compensation, and disciplinary matters. /p pEnsure effective resource and vacation planning to support uninterrupted production and operational requirements. /p pDrive communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement by promoting the Lonza culture and ensuring alignment between management and operational teams. /p pAct as Engineering Lead for capital investment projects, providing utility-related expertise and supporting facility design, construction, and commissioning. /p pDefine and implement maintenance strategies, standards, and changeover concepts to maximize plant reliability, availability, and cost efficiency. /p pManage engineering, maintenance, utility, CAPEX, and operational budgets while driving innovation, cost reductions, and cross-functional collaboration within the Manufacturing Leadership Team. /p h3bWhat we are looking for: /b /h3 pBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline. /p p10+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance leadership, preferably within the biopharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing industry. /p pProven experience leading engineering activities and supporting large-scale CAPEX projects from design through commissioning. /p pStrong knowledge of GMP requirements and familiarity with engineering and maintenance systems such as COMOS and SAP. /p pDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing multidisciplinary teams. /p pExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, quality, engineering, and project organizations. /p pStructured, organized, and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. /p pAgile, proactive, and open-minded professional who embraces innovation, drives change, and thrives in a dynamic environment. /p pBusiness‑fluent English (required) and German (preferred). /p h3bAbout Lonza: /b /h3 pAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
