Our Global Customer Experience Solution Design team is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Human Factors Engineer who is eager to shape the next generation of medical devices and digital interfaces used worldwide. /ppIn this role, you will join a diverse, international community of designers and usability experts who bring human insight into every stage of product development. You will help ensure that Roche’s diagnostic systems are intuitive, safe, and accessible—ultimately improving outcomes for patients across the globe. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliChampion the perspective of patients and end-users throughout product discussions and design decisions /liliDefine user groups, workflows, critical use scenarios, and risk-related usability considerations /liliTranslate research findings, user needs, and technical constraints into clear and effective user experiences /liliProduce usability engineering documentation aligned with IEC 62366 /liliLead and facilitate workshops to gather system-level insights and align design deliverables /liliPlan, run, and document formative and summative usability studies, collaborating with external partners when needed /liliMaintain and review Usability Engineering Files across the product lifecycle /liliAdvocate for accessibility, quality, and usability within Roche Diagnostics /liliMentor junior team members and support their professional growth /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science, or a related technical field /lili5+ years of hands‑on experience in Human Factors Engineering and Design Control /liliProven experience with usability engineering for medical devices (hardware + software) /liliStrong background in planning, conducting, and documenting usability studies in healthcare environments /liliExperience analyzing physiological and behavioral data /liliSkilled in facilitating workshops with customers and cross‑functional stakeholders /liliExcellent communication and presentation abilities /liliFamiliarity with ISO 14971 and IEC 62304 is an advantage /liliSolid knowledge of IEC 62366 and current FDA Human Factors Engineering guidance /liliFluency in English; additional languages are an advantage /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
