This role focuses on deploying and operating production-grade platforms using infrastructure-as-code, automation, and security-first practices tailored for regulated financial services environments. /p pWithin the Service Enterprise Solutions organization, the DevOps Engineer works closely with Solution Architects, Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to build and operate resilient infrastructure. This role ensures blockchain solutions are secure, scalable, observable, and operationally sound for banking and institutional environments. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities) /h3 ul liBuild and operate cloud infrastructure for blockchain platforms in banking, custody, payments, and digital asset environments /li liDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and release management /li liDeploy and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation /li liOperate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes /li liConfigure and manage environments across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premise deployments /li liImplement security hardening, secrets management, encryption, and access controls /li liBuild and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch /li liSupport production deployments, go-live activities, and incident response /li liCollaborate with Solution Architects to ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and architectural requirements /li liContribute to reusable infrastructure patterns, automation frameworks, and operational documentation /li /ul h3What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications) /h3 ul li3–6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations roles /li liHands-on experience building and operating infrastructure in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments /li liStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure and/or GCP a plus) /li liExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD /li liStrong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi /li liSolid scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages /li liExperience operating Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms /li liStrong understanding of security, networking, and compliance requirements in regulated environments /li liSelf-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of delivery /li liAbility to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, delivery teams, and client technical stakeholders /li liLanguages: English required; Swiss German, German, French or Italian a plus /li liLocation: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and Lugano /li /ul h3Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications) /h3 ul liExperience operating blockchain infrastructure (Bitcoin nodes, Lightning Network, or similar) /li liFamiliarity with distributed systems and blockchain-specific operational requirements /liliExperience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK /li liKnowledge of service mesh, API gateways, or load-balancing technologies /li liRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) /li liInterest in progressing into Senior DevOps Engineer or SRE leadership roles /li liGenuine interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure /li /ul h3Stay Safe from Job Scams /h3 pAll official Blockstream communication will come from an b@ /bbblockstream.com /b email address.
