We are seeking an experienced L3 Security Architect (Fortinet) to provide technical leadership and architecture governance for enterprise security environments. The role is responsible for defining and evolving security architectures, including firewall strategies, network segmentation, IPS/IDS frameworks, cloud security integration, and operational security controls. As a senior technical authority, you will support complex security incidents and changes while ensuring security designs remain resilient, compliant, and operationally sustainable. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, implement, and govern enterprise security architectures with a focus on Fortinet FortiGate environments. /liliDefine security standards, firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and IPS/IDS architectures. /liliLead architecture reviews and provide guidance on cloud security integration and operational security controls. /liliSupport and oversee complex security changes, major incidents, and root cause investigations. /liliEnsure security solutions align with compliance, resilience, and business requirements. /liliDevelop and maintain security governance frameworks, standards, and technical documentation. /liliCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, network, and operations teams to ensure secure and supportable platform designs. /liliAct as the senior escalation point for security-related technical challenges and architectural decisions. /liliPromote continuous improvement and security best practices across the environment. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliExtensive experience designing and operating enterprise security architectures. /liliStrong expertise in Fortinet FortiGate, network security, firewall technologies, and security operations. /liliDeep understanding of network segmentation, IPS/IDS technologies, secure architecture principles, and cloud security integration. /liliExperience supporting complex security incidents, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements. /liliAbility to balance security objectives with operational practicality and maintainability. /liliStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ulh3Preferred Certifications /h3ulliFortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) in Network Security or equivalent NSE7-level certification /liliFortinet Certified Expert (FCX) preferred for lead architecture responsibilities /liliCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) /liliAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ulh3Language Requirement /h3pGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory.
