On behalf of a company in the Martigny region, recognised and firmly established in its sector, we are looking for an administrative and financial director.A key member of the organisation, you support management in the financial and administrative steering of the company. You assume overall responsibility for the finance, accounting, controlling and administration functions, while managing the department's staff.
This position is aimed at an experienced, structured and committed individual wishing to hold a strategic role within a stable and demanding environment.

Job Description

You ensure the financial management of the company, notably through the preparation and monitoring of budgets, variance analysis, implementation of performance indicators and making recommendations to Management.You supervise general and analytical accounting, monthly and annual closings, preparation of statutory financial statements as well as various reports intended for Management and the group.You coordinate relations with auditors, banks, tax authorities, insurers and various external partners. You also ensure compliance with the company’s fiscal, regulatory and accounting obligations.You manage cash flow, financing, banking relationships as well as monitoring debtors, suppliers, invoicing and collection procedures.You develop and maintain the internal control system, identify financial and operational risks and propose necessary measures to secure the company’s processes.You lead and support teams responsible for accounting, invoicing and payroll, promoting versatility, training and quality of services provided.In collaboration with Management, you participate in strategic reflections, monitoring objectives, certain IT and organisational projects as well as various cross-functional administrative tasks.

Profile Sought

You hold a higher education qualification in finance, accounting, business management or an equivalent recognised title. Additional training such as a federal diploma, a diploma as an expert in finance and controlling or as a chartered accountant is a real advantage.You have proven experience in a financial manager, administrative and financial manager, financial controller or similar role, ideally within a structured SME, group or industrial and commercial environment.You master closing, reporting, budgeting, controlling, cash management and Swiss taxation processes. You also have good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and the operation of an internal control system.Comfortable with IT tools and ERPs, you ideally have good knowledge of SAP, especially financial modules.Your natural leadership, analytical skills and sense of responsibility enable you to unite a team and collaborate effectively with Management. You are recognised for your discretion, rigour, reliability and ability to handle strategic and operational issues simultaneously.
