IT Business Analyst 80-100% (M/F) - Geneva

On behalf of our client, a leading public institution in Geneva, a key player in mobility within the canton, we are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen its Information Systems Department.

Your responsibilities

As a Business Analyst within the IT Department, you will be involved in the entire project cycle:

• Gather, synthesise and formalise requirements from departments and business referents
• Model processes (BPMN, UML) and participate in project scoping
• Write specifications and tender documents
• Define acceptance criteria, test strategy, and monitor the quality of deliverables
• Train users and organise change management support
• Manage application maintenance (corrective, adaptive, evolutionary) and handle the product backlog
• Coordinate developments with users and suppliers

Your profile

• Higher education degree in computer science (Master, HES, EPF)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis
• Proficiency in analysis and modelling tools (BPMN, UML)
• Good understanding of IT fundamentals: development, databases, testing, maintenance
• Excellent communication, synthesis and writing skills in French
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Hermès or Scrum)

Your additional assets

• Experience as a Product Owner or in prioritising requirements
• Practice in quality assurance and automated testing
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices (support and application maintenance)
• Experience in the public sector
