ppThe Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions team helps multinational companies find the right financing solutions for their global employee benefit plans. From multinational pooling and captive services to innovative global underwriting programs, we offer a holistic approach to risk management and financing solutions, maximizing the value of their global employee benefit plans. /p pWe are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Senior Captive Underwriter to join our dynamic and international environment. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for technical topics related to our corporate customers, handling complex new and renewal cases as part of a team of Life, Disability, Accident, and Group Medical underwriters. You will be integral in supporting the sales team in winning new customers, setting up reinsurance arrangements, and offering underwriting support to captives. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liContribute to the request for proposal process alongside the sales team, bringing technical expertise to the ZGEBS proposal. /li liSupport the implementation process for newly acquired captives, setting up the reinsurance program, including reinsurance agreement wording and credit risk related matters. /li liProvide professional underwriting support to the captives for the onboarding and renewal of cases fronted through the ZGEBS network, ensuring profitability targets are met. /li liUse a disciplined approach to risk assessment of new and renewal business of your own portfolio of customers. /li liPlay an active role in promoting the ZGEBS captive expertise externally, including representing ZGEBS in finalist presentations, exchanging with captive customers, and presenting at professional conferences. /li liDevelop and enhance the ZGEBS captive proposition, listening to market demands and aligning with Zurich's objectives to shape global solutions and client satisfaction. /li liEvaluate captive protection needs and provide offers in line with ZGEBS profitability and risk appetite. /li liProvide wider underwriting support to the ZGEBS underwriting team, such as deputising other underwriters during their absences. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul li6-8 years of practical experience in underwriting employee benefit schemes for Life and/or Health business. /li liDegree in mathematics, finance, or a similar field. /li liAbility to quickly understand and use new technical information and analyse pricing datasets. /li liStrong analytical and technical skills with a high degree of accuracy in daily work. /li liExceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. /li liA team player who enjoys working in a dynamic and multi‑cultural organisation. /li liProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). /li liStrong communication skills; comfortable presenting to customers and discussing technical topics with sales, operations, and external stakeholders. /li liExperience in setting up reinsurance agreements and a good understanding of reinsurance covers would be an advantage. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pWe offer a range of benefits that support well‑being and growth, including healthy food options, fitness facilities, and collaborative spaces.
