Test Analyst

For our client in the financial services industry based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Test Analyst (Fully Remote).

Your Responsibilities:

• Estimate the effort required for manual and automated testing and align estimates with business stakeholders
• Create and maintain test cases based on business requirements and user stories
• Prepare and manage test data for functional and non-functional testing
• Execute manual tests and document test results and defects
• Analyze, track and document defects in close collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders
• Analyze test coverage and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support the selection and preparation of test cases for test automation
• Assess risks and prioritize testing activities accordingly
• Prepare test reports covering test progress, quality and risks
• Support and advise business departments on testing activities and testing methodologies

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in software testing, including test analysis, test design, test execution and defect management
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Analyst (CTAL-TA)
• Basic knowledge of or initial experience with test automation, ideally using Tosca, is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or ALM
• Strong analytical, structured and quality-focused mindset
• High level of accountability and ability to work independently in a remote/offsite environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage
