AI Platform System Engineer

ph3What we are looking? /h3 pOur client, a leading international private bank, is seeking an experienced AI Platform System Engineer to join its platform and infrastructure team. /p pIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating enterprise infrastructure supporting AI initiatives, with a strong focus on GPU workloads, AI platforms and high-performance computing environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, technology and data science teams in an international environment. /p h3Job Description /h3 ul liDesign and evolve scalable AI infrastructure services optimized for GPU workloads /li liImplement and manage enterprise-grade AI platforms, including Kubernetes and OpenShift, supporting model inference /li liOperate and maintain HPC clusters, including bare-metal and virtual GPU servers /li liTroubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents across hardware and software environments /li liSupport data science teams with infrastructure provisioning and technical requirements /li liPerform critical infrastructure activities and participate in on-call rotations /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liValid EU Passport or a Swiss Visa – Must /li liUniversity or FH degree in Computer Science or a related field /li liAt least 5 years of experience in IT system administration, including 3+ years of strong Linux experience, ideally RHEL /li liStrong scripting and automation skills with Shell, Python and Ansible /li liDeep expertise in GPU architectures and topologies, including NVLink and PCIe switching /li liStrong experience with container orchestration and infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform and ArgoCD /li liInitial hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana and DCGM Exporter /li liFamiliarity with ITIL methodologies /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure /li liProactive, accountable and collaborative working style /li liFluent English is required; German is an advantage /li /ul pAre you interested?
