Network Engineer – Palo Alto SD-WAN / Prisma Access

pFor a challenging network infrastructure project with an internationally operating organisation, we are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto technologies. /p ul li pConfigure, install and operate network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN solutions and Quality of Service technologies /p /li li pImplement and manage Palo Alto SD-WAN solutions to optimise network performance, availability and security /p /li li pImplement and operate Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN solutions in combination with Prisma Access /p /li li pPerform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, hotfixes, service packs and security configurations /p /li li pProactively monitor network performance and ensure high system availability and reliability /p /li li pAnalyse and resolve network connectivity and performance issues /p /li li pTroubleshoot complex network incidents and provide timely solutions to minimise downtime /p /li li pCollaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud and other IT specialists /p /li li pContinuously improve network performance, resilience and security /p /li li pCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes and operational procedures /p /li li p3–5 years of proven hands-on experience in network engineering /p /li li pStrong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF /p /li li pSolid knowledge of network security principles and enterprise network architectures /p /li li pHands-on experience with Palo Alto ION or CloudGenix SD-WAN solutions /p /li li pPractical experience with Palo Alto GlobalProtect /p /li li pExperience with Prisma Access is highly desirable /p /li li pExperience with network monitoring and management tools, preferably SolarWinds Orion /p /li li pStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills /p /li li pExcellent communication and interpersonal skills /p /li li pAbility to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team /p /li li pAvailability and willingness to work on-site in Zurich /p /li /ulbrpPROSTAFF vermittelt und besetzt Informatik- und Data Science-Projekte in der Schweiz mit Freiberuflern, Freelancern, Contractors und temporären Mitarbeitern. /p
