Senior Microsoft System Engineer (Enterprise Infrastructure)

ph3About The Role /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft System Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise IT environment. You will play a key role in the administration, optimization, automation and continuous improvement of the Microsoft infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security and operational excellence. /p pThis role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset and the ability to operate within complex enterprise environments supporting more than 1,000 users. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liAdminister, maintain and continuously improve enterprise Microsoft server environments. /li liInstall, configure and manage Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure (Windows Server 2016 and newer). /li liPerform server patching, lifecycle management and infrastructure updates. /li liManage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including users, groups, permissions and security policies. /li liSupport and further develop enterprise identity and access management solutions. /li liAdminister Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments. /li liManage and operate ADFS and/or Okta authentication services. /li liImplement and integrate Microsoft System Center solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). /li liDevelop, maintain and optimise PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency. /li liAnalyse system, application and event logs to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues. /li liParticipate in infrastructure projects, platform improvements and technology upgrades. /li liDocument system changes, operational procedures and technical implementations. /li liWork according to ITIL best practices, including Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management. /li liContribute to the strategic evolution and modernisation of the enterprise infrastructure. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Professional Experience /h3 ul liSeveral years of hands‑on experience as a Microsoft System Engineer within complex enterprise environments. /li liProven experience supporting enterprise infrastructures with more than 1,000 users. /li liSenior or Expert level with demonstrated technical leadership and deep infrastructure expertise. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 h3Microsoft Infrastructure /h3 ul liStrong expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer. /li liExcellent knowledge of enterprise server security best practices. /li liExtensive experience with server installation, configuration, patching and update management. /li liAdvanced administration of Microsoft Active Directory. /li liStrong understanding of Microsoft's Tiering Model (Tier 0, Tier 1 and Tier 2). /li liExperience with Microsoft Entra ID administration. /li liExperience administering ADFS and/or Okta environments. /li /ul h3Endpoint Systems Management /h3 ul liExtensive experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). /li liExperience with Microsoft System Center solutions. /li liExperience with Ansible is considered a strong advantage. /li /ul h3Identity Access Management /h3 ul liExperience with enterprise Identity Management solutions. /li liKnowledge of Omada and Adaxes is highly desirable. /li /ul h3Automation /h3 ul liStrong PowerShell scripting skills. /li liExperience developing automation solutions for operational efficiency. /li /ul h3Operations /h3 ul liExperience analysing system logs, event logs and infrastructure troubleshooting. /li liSolid understanding of ITIL operational processes. /li liExperience documenting infrastructure changes and operational procedures. /li liExperience contributing to infrastructure improvements and modernisation initiatives. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liRelevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liAbility to work independently in large enterprise environments. /li liExcellent communication and collaboration skills. /li liEnglish language skills at B2/C1 level are considered an advantage. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
